We've had 1100 hits on the site in the past few days, and we already have 200, approximately, new users who have signed in as authenticated (registered) users. There is nothing to fear from signing in as a registered user. I will never share that information, and I am the only one who sees the information. So please go there and sign up if you'd like to place ads. You can ad photos of your items as well.

Check us out at http://www.kbbspin.org. The best part is that you can upload your own ads and take them down when you're ready, and you can include photos of the items!

1/8 Exciting news! I am going to be changing the look, format, and functioning of these pages, as well as the url (to be easier). The new url will be something simple to remember. This will involve moving the pages to a different server in order to make the pages easier to use. It also includes about $180.00 (was slightly less than I thought) to purchase 2 years of server space.

On May 1, the pages will switch their donations to the Young Writer's Project, a new and worthy Vermont non-profit that is devoted to teaching young people to hone their writing skills. I realize that some of you have been using our pages for so long... some get up and check the pages first thing every morning,... I am astounded. When we make the change, I will also be able to see how many people check and use the pages, whereas now I can only guess at how many good users we have: ) Keep up the good work. There has been a concern that the pages will be changing in flavor, and one reader was concerned that the pages will change in a negative way. Not to worry. I will keep the same flavor and personality...I'll still be the one doing the pages, as usual, ...so it should be fairly similar in personality and goals. Just trying to look a little nicer, and work a little easier. Right now, I'm using Dreamweaver, and I will be changing over to a different software that will be easier for me, hopefully, and a bit more robust. From Martha:  "What a powerful statement, and one that reflects the mission of Vermont Suzuki Violins. I will be donating all proceeds from these pages to the Vermont Suzuki Violins, which exists to provide musical education in a group setting for violinists of all ages and abilities.  Pam Reit is the beloved  Director of  Vermont Suzuki Violins.  VSV is an organization close to my heart, and one that has nurtured not only my musical instruction, but hundreds of other people in our area.   What a valuable lesson to learn at a young age...how to work together in a group setting, whether in chamber music, in conjunction with a teacher/coach, or with peers.  I've been involved in this organization since I was 7,  10 years now.  I started in the group that has been fondly named the "Twinklers" playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and have progressed now to be in a quartet, as well as a cello quintet (2 violins, a viola, and 2 cellos, instead of the one that is present in a quartet). My quartet is playing Ravel, which I am playing viola in, and I am playing first violin  in the Schubert Cello Quintet, which is one of the most gorgeous pieces ever written. This organization strives to provide music to all children, and all donations for these pages will go to support the various  opportunities such as group class, scholarships, and chamber music. Please help me support VSV." Martha Bruce, 18 years old.
 

 
 

We happily provide  people with connections that are valuable to them. We take special pleasure in being able to volunteer our  time and effort with the specific intent of providing spinners and weavers with a place to form connections which may encourage all involved to share used spinning and weaving equipment via the WWW, (i.e., the  Housecleaning pages.) We weave people together!

As we are voluntarily offering our time, financial resources, and energy to the people who use our pages, we assume that you, as  fiber enthusiasts who send us ads,  will respect our efforts by following the above guidelines.

Remember to use the same caution approaching these ads as those found in any print publication. I accept the ads submitted to me in good faith, and cannot be responsible for disappointments.

Ads should include a description of the goods offered for sale, asking price and a way to contact the seller. Be sure that the price is reasonable and that what you offer is in good-to-excellent condition, unless otherwise stated. Be of good and honest heart in your dealings here.
